Precipice Studios is an acclaimed, multi-disciplinary, full service interior design and architecture studio. With projects that range from nightclubs such as Amber and Lobby, to restaurants, SpaHa, and Banzai Sushi to one of the most prodigious suites in the new Cosmopolitan Hotel, it’s no wonder that the studio has quickly risen to prominence among Canada’s design industry. As well, the principals of Precipice Studios are also the host of HGTV’s hit television series The Designer Guys. Every week, The Designer Guys use their expertise, from architecture to engineering to custom furniture, lighting, and interior design – all of which come together in amazing transformations on the show.
Precipice prides itself on being innovative, modern, and cutting-edge. This was in the inspiration when typotherapy developed the brand identity for the firm. A modernized stenciled logotype was derived from the meaning in the company’s name and embodies the company’s mandate for innovation. The identity was carried through to the company’s most important elements form business cards to promotional materials, which consisted of a branded kit that housed a series of clear interchangeable swatch like panels displaying featured projects.
